Aircraft Mechanic Supervisor

Production Supervisor Overview The Production Supervisor is responsible for aircraft that transport the President, Vice President, First Lady, Cabinet members, and other high‑ranking national and international dignitaries. Responsibilities Supervise, direct, and control all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on 89th AW and transient aircraft on a 24/7 basis to maintain airworthiness standards. Monitor the daily flying schedule to ensure all back‑shop aircraft requirements are met. Coordinate with other maintenance organizations and staff agencies to ensure effective support. Support aircraft generation and mission readiness, including aircraft forms review and CAMS entries. Ensure all maintenance is conducted safely in accordance with applicable instructions, policies, and directives. Brief and update aircraft status to senior leaders. Perform disaster preparedness responsibilities, implement emergency procedures and severe weather warning actions, in accordance with directives and local policies. Participate in daily maintenance planning and scheduling meetings. Act as the single point of contact for all back‑shop aircraft maintenance and maintenance‑branch personnel matters after duty hours. Complete employee performance reviews. Assist in the training and direction of assigned personnel. Work first, second, third shift, or weekend shift as required. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (minimum). Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations. FAA Airframe Certificate . Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. US citizenship required to obtain the clearance. Ability to obtain and maintain a flightline driver's license. Preferred Qualifications 89th AW Special Air Missions and Air Force technical publications applicable to aircraft maintenance. Exceptional communication skills and leadership qualities. Compensation Base Salary: $98,000.
