Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Surgery Center

What We Offer The Registered Nurse ASC is expected to work in a primary nursing area for the center. The RN functions as a team member in an ASC environment, cross‑training to other primary areas including turnover and all day‑to‑day ASC operations. The RN also coordinates telephone pre‑admission assessment for patients. What We're Looking For Education: 2‑Year Associate Degree, required. Graduate of an accredited nursing school. 4‑Year Bachelor’s Degree, preferred. Experience: One year of ASC, PACU, or operating room experience, preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. ACLS and PALS, preferred. Additional Skills (required): Thorough understanding of RN roles and the NC Nurse Practice Act; ability to set priorities and organize unit workload; modify care based on patient age; interpret information to meet age‑specific needs; proficient in telephone screening and interviewing. #J-18808-Ljbffr Novant Health
