Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced cardiovascular unit. This contract position offers an immersive environment focusing on complex cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities:

Administer comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations, PCI, TAVR, Watchman, and device placements.
Prepare and support patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment plans and ensure optimal outcomes.
Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to emergency situations during procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system and adhere to institutional policies and protocols.

Qualifications:

Hold an active Registered Nurse license with at least 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP setting.
Possess current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Demonstrate proficiency in handling complex cardiovascular procedures and equipment such as RCIS certification preferred.
Exhibit strong teamwork, adaptability, and efficiency in a high-pressure environment.
Familiarity with Meditech EMR system is preferred.
