Technical Sales Specialist - Software
Thermo Fisher Scientific
Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Technical Sales Specialist to drive revenue growth for chromatography and mass spectrometry instruments and consumables across western and midwestern U.S. markets. This role combines sales strategy, technical expertise, and customer relationship management to expand business in the analytical instruments sector.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new client opportunities to grow revenue in assigned product lines
- Support Account Managers in uncovering opportunities and developing sales strategies
- Build relationships with key opinion leaders and scientific decision makers
- Provide technical training to sales teams and represent company at industry seminars
- Collaborate with internal specialists to deliver technical solutions and advance deals
Requirements
- 5+ years sales experience in analytical instruments or related markets
- Bachelor's degree in science; Master's degree preferred
- Proven ability to manage complex, high-value accounts
- Experience conducting seminars and technical presentations
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Commercial acumen with track record of business development success
- Fluency in English; additional regional languages beneficial
