We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Primary Care Physician to provide comprehensive, patient-centered medical care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, promoting preventive health, and developing individualized treatment plans. This role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and a commitment to building long-term relationships with patients.
Compensation negotiable based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct physical examinations, assess patient symptoms, and obtain medical histories.
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and common medical concerns.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide preventive care, routine screenings, immunizations, and health education.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, laboratory work, and imaging as appropriate.
- Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease.
- Refer patients to specialists when additional evaluation or treatment is needed.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential electronic medical records.
- Coordinate care with nurses, medical assistants, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and overall wellness.
- Ensure compliance with applicable medical regulations, clinical guidelines, and healthcare standards.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, as applicable.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, if required by the employer.
- Strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a primary care, outpatient clinic, or community health setting.
- Experience using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Familiarity with preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and evidence-based clinical practices.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
