Assistant Credit Controller, Credit Specialist

Job Title and Summary Assistant Credit Controller, Credit Specialist Location USA – Iselin, Wood Ave, New Jersey Division Air & Sea Employment Type Full Time Summary The Credit Specialist will work as part of the credit team located in Iselin, NJ, compiling customer credit information, conducting credit investigations, and providing risk assessments to support credit decisions across North America. Responsibilities Receive, review, and submit Customer Profile Request Forms for credit approval or limit uplift. Assist in the preparation and submission of monthly premium insurance declarations through the Atradius website. Conduct credit investigations and analyze diverse credit information based on internal and external sources. Proactively monitor customers to ensure they do not exceed their credit limits. Prepare internal and detailed Credit Agreement Forms where insurance has not been secured. Communicate with business and sales teams during the customer application/review process. Provide management with comprehensive summaries of factors affecting credit risk. Perform ad‑hoc projects as needed. Skills and Qualifications Three years of progressively responsible experience in a Credit Department (preferred). Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including V‑Lookup, PivotTables, and formulas. Understanding of D&B and Experian credit report data for B2B credit decisions (preferred). Knowledge of the factors that influence credit decisions. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise independent judgment. Professional, businesslike manner and excellent customer service skills. SAP experience (preferred). Compensation Expected base pay range: $22.50 – $30.50 per hour.
