RN Acute Care Transplant / Thoracic

Job Location UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, Aurora, Colorado Job Type & Shift Full Time (72 hours per pay period over 2 weeks), Day and Night Rotation. Pay $35.29 - $54.71 per hour, dependent on experience. Night shift incentive is $1,600 quarterly ($6,400 per year) for full‑time night‑shift RNs and LPNs. Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years of experience (Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred). State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification or equivalent; BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuer required. Card must remain valid for 60 days after hire. Six months of RN experience. Key Responsibilities Provide top‑scope practice in direct patient care using the nursing process. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional patient outcomes. Prioritize wellness, patient perspective, and evidence‑based practice. Precept new staff and support staff new to UCHealth. Deliver direct care in acute‑care (Med‑Surg) units of moderate to high patient acuity.
