Catastrophic Nurse Case Manager – Omaha, NE Paradigm is looking for a full-time, benefited Catastrophic Nurse Case Manager to cover the Omaha, NE area. In this hybrid position the candidate must be located in the Omaha, NE area. The role involves regular local travel (80% of the time) for in-person patient appointments. A compact RN license in the state of MO is required; an IL RN is strongly preferred and required to be obtained. Responsibilities The Catastrophic Nurse Case Manager is responsible for the medical case management of work‑related injuries, which includes assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals. The role works with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers, and employees, closely monitors progress of the injured worker, and reports results back to the employer and insurance carriers. Qualifications Current, unencumbered compact Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska required. Illinois RN preferred; willingness to obtain IL RN required. Experience in case management of workers' compensation cases strongly preferred. Recommended certifications (CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC) strongly preferred; must obtain within two years of hire date. Proficiency in organization and timeline adherence, PC and technology, and communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal). Ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight.
