Material Handler (Per Diem)

18340BRJob Description: This position is per diem, 16 hours per week. Candidates must have the availability/flexibility to work any shift in accordance with departmental needs: Days (7am-3:30pm), Evenings (3pm-11:30pm) and Nights (11pm-7:30am).

Efficiently provide and maintain the consumable materials supply chain and related services in support of client organizations at Highland Hospital as outlined below or directed by the Materials Management Supervisor/Periop Supply Chain Supervisor. Work hours are dependent on demand for services and includes weekends, off-shifts, and holidays as required.

Salary Range:

$18.89 - $25.56 an hour

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. • Education: High school graduate or GED; or equivalent experience

• Experience: 1-3 years previous storeroom/receiving or similar materials handling experience preferred; Materials experience in a hospital setting is preferred; computer inventory software systems programs experience highly desirable; basic spreadsheet and software communications experience highly desirable

• License/Certification Required: none.

• Skills: Interpersonal; Microsoft skills; beginner level of proficiency in computer equipment / communications / spreadsheet software
