Responsibilities: Provide direct care and support to students with diverse needs throughout the school day Assist students with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility as needed Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support individualized student goals Monitor student behavior and implement positive behavioral support strategies Document and report student progress, incidents, and observations to appropriate personnel Facilitate a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom and school environment Provide crisis intervention and de‑escalation support when necessary Requirements: Experience in caregiving, paraprofessional support, special education, or a related field preferred Ability to work patiently and effectively with students of varying abilities and needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or CDA a plus CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire Ability to pass a background check in accordance with school and state requirements Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a consistent presence for students About Us: SAHAL SERVICES LLC is a dedicated care and support services provider serving the Carroll, OH community with a commitment to improving lives through compassionate, person‑centered care.
