Johnny J's Pub & Grille in Strongsville is hiring a Cook (Prep & Kitchen), separate from our Line Cook role, to handle food prep, holding temperatures, and sanitation for a kitchen that runs high-volume lunch, dinner, and weekend services — including steak & chop night on Thursdays and the $14.99 fish fry on Fridays.

What you'll do:
- Identify proper food handling procedures
- Execute presentation standards
- Monitor hot and cold holding temperatures
- Assist with prep, stocking, and kitchen cleanup
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain good hygiene
What you'll need:
- Restaurant or kitchen experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn and work hard
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Available for nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Willingness to take on daily and weekly cleaning projects
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
