Production Helper / Heavy Equipment Operator (2nd Shift)

Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Mon–Fri)

️ What You’ll Do

• Assist with rigging and safely move materials using overhead cranes
• Operate cranes to lift, position, and transport steel and components
• Support steel blasting and basic fabrication tasks
• Tow trailers and move equipment/materials throughout the facility
• Perform general shop work: cleanup, scrap removal, organization
• Use hand and power tools for grinding, mechanical tasks, and assembly support
• Assist technicians with staging materials and prepping work areas
• Maintain a clean, organized shop and tool areas
• Follow all safety procedures and report hazards
• Support electrical and mechanical assembly teams as needed

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Experience using hand tools and basic power tools
• Ability to assist with rigging and crane operations
• Forklift experience and general material handling skills
• Ability to perform physical labor (lifting, standing, moving materials)
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Comfortable working 2nd shift in an industrial setting
• High school diploma or GED

• Experience with grinding or metal finishing
• Tractor trailer handling within a facility
• Basic fabrication or assembly experience
• Exposure to electrical or mechanical assembly
• Ability to read blueprints or shop drawings

This is a Permanent position based out of Tonawanda, NY.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
