Rate: $45 $55/hr W2 (DOE)
About the Role
Seeking a hands-on Sr Automation Engineer to support a highly automated medical device manufacturing environment. The role focuses on controls, robotics, equipment troubleshooting, and production reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and support automated manufacturing equipment, controls, and robotics.
- Recover, reconfigure, and troubleshoot 6-axis and industrial robotic systems.
- Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs and Ladder Logic.
- Support machine vision and camera-integrated systems.
- Perform robotic component repair, replacement, and system optimization.
- Identify equipment issues and implement solutions to maintain production continuity.
Required Qualifications
- Strong controls engineering experience in an automated manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with industrial robotics, including programming, recovery, and troubleshooting.
- Strong Allen-Bradley PLC and Ladder Logic experience.
- Ability to work directly with manufacturing equipment in a hands-on environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Machine vision and camera integration experience.
- Robotic component repair and system optimization experience.
- Experience supporting occasional on-call or weekend requirements.
