responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support the purchasing and negotiation of materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors.
- Evaluate vendor quotes and service offerings to identify and secure the most desirable suppliers for Our Client.
- Apply standard procurement concepts, practices, and industry procedures to successfully accomplish operational goals.
- Rely on professional experience, judgment, and creativity to plan and execute a variety of purchasing tasks.
- Perform duties under general supervision while reporting progress to a manager or supervisor.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field. 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in purchasing, procurement, or vendor negotiations. Strong familiarity with standard industry concepts and procedures, paired with sound judgment and creative problem-solving skills. Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. In addition, Randstad offers a comprehensive benefits package, including: medical, prescription, dental, vision, AD&D, and life insurance offerings, short-term disability, and a 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).
