CorsoCare Hospice - Michigan
Looking for a meaningful way to give back while keeping your weekdays free? As a Weekend Companion Volunteer with CorsoCare, you'll provide companionship, comfort, and emotional support to patients and families during the weekend. What You'll Do Spend quality timewith patients, offering conversation, companionship, or gentle activities Provide families with a caring presence and occasional respite Engage patients in meaningful activities such as reading, games, or life reflection Support patients' emotional needs and be a comforting presence during weekends Why Volunteer Make a meaningful difference in patients' lives during the weekend Flexible weekend schedule to fit around your personal or professional commitments Gain experience in healthcare, social work, or volunteer support programs Requirements Compassion, reliability, and a caring attitude Completion of volunteer training program Background check and TB test Provide comfort and companionship when it's needed most – dedicate your weekends to making a difference.
