LDRP RN - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position. The shift includes three 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with every third weekend required.

Job Description

The LDRP RN will be responsible for providing care to labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients. The RN will work with high-risk obstetrics and couplet care, ensuring that the needs of both mothers and infants are met through comprehensive nursing interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for labor and delivery patients, including high-risk obstetrics.
• Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and care according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all observations and care in electronic medical records using Epic.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
• Current RN license in South Carolina or compact state.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, NRP.
• Preferred certifications: AWHONN Advanced, STABLE.
• Epic charting experience is required.
