Job Description As a Security Officer Dispatch Communications Driver in Newark, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatcher at a financial institution, you will coordinate communications, monitor security-related activity, and support timely responses to incidents and requests. You will help maintain a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service, clear communication, and teamwork. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, cameras, and/or incoming calls; document and relay information to appropriate personnel in a timely manner. Coordinate the dispatch of security-related personnel in response to incidents, service requests, alarms, and critical situations while remaining calm and problem-solving focused. Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift activity records in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements: Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
