Parts Buyer - Procurement Analyst

Location: Tempe Milk Plant A: Tempe, AZ 85282

Payrate: $25.00

Role requires the candidate to be onsite 5 days a week. Role hours: 8 am - 4pm Arizona time M-F subject to time. Can be worked out with the hiring manager. Flexibility to work varied hours, including overtime as needed.

Possible assignment extension depends on need. This is for LOA only. Candidate must be eligible to be employed for an indefinite duration without limitations.

Role Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely procurement of critical materials
• Assist with monitoring inventory of maintenance and operational supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and compliance with purchasing procedures
• Assist maintenance teams to forecast material and tool needs for preventive maintenance while maintaining regulatory and company standards
• Assist in managing contracts for facility services, such as HVAC, janitorial, and equipment repairs, ensuring all agreements align with company policies
• Prepare reports on purchasing activities, costs, and vendor performance for management review and audit purposes
• Assist with administrative tasks related to facility management, procurement, and compliance

Role Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in procurement or supply chain management is a plus
• Minimum 1-2-year experience working in an office or manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in purchasing or procurement, especially in a manufacturing or production environment, is nice to have
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Working knowledge of purchasing software and inventory management systems is nice to have
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of facility maintenance and operational needs is an advantage
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance and production staff
