Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill adults in the ICU, delivering evidence-based nursing interventions.
- Monitor telemetry and hemodynamic status; respond to changes in patient condition in a timely manner.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies and other clinical treatments as ordered.
- Document care clearly and promptly in the electronic medical record; participate in daily rounds with the multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other staff to develop and adjust care plans.
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards; assist with transfers and discharge planning as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active ColoradoRN license to practice
- Two years of relevant ICU/critical care nursing experience preferred
- Telemetry experience preferred
- BLS required upon hire
- ACLS required within 3 months of start
- PALS or ENPC required within 6 months of start (if traveler stays 6 months)
