Finance Manager Key Responsibilities
- Present finance and insurance (F&I) products in a clear, compliant, and professional manner
- Secure financing through dealership-approved lenders, banks, and credit unions
- Accurately complete and review all deal documentation
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations (Red Flags, OFAC, Privacy Act)
- Maintain strong relationships with lenders to optimize approvals and funding speed
- Achieve monthly performance goals (PVR, product penetration, CSI)
- Collaborate with sales and management teams for a seamless customer experience
- Train and support sales staff on finance processes and product knowledge
- Resolve funding and contract discrepancies in a timely manner
- Deliver a transparent, high-quality customer experience
Finance Manager Requirements
- 2–3+ years of Automotive Finance Manager / F&I experience in a dealership environment
- Proven track record of success in automotive finance, lending, or sales
- Strong knowledge of finance laws, credit regulations, and compliance practices
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Experience with dealership management systems (DMS) and CRM software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
