Hospitalist Opportunities

University of Pittsburgh Physicians seeks hospitalists (multiple openings) in Blair and Bedford counties in PA and may work at unanticipated locations. Provide and direct inpatient care for hospital inpatients. May be required to work overnight shifts as a nocturnist (a hospitalist who works the overnight shift). Hospitalized patients may be adults or children. Applicants may be required to work at multiple hospitals and medical centers throughout the state of Pennsylvania to care for inpatients based on patient volume and hospital staffing needs.

Job responsibilities:

• Provide and direct inpatient care for hospital inpatients.
• May be required to work overnight shifts as a nocturnist (a hospitalist who works the overnight shift) and hospitalized patients may be adults or children.
• Applicants may be required to work at multiple hospitals and medical centers throughout the state of Pennsylvania to care for inpatients based on patient volume and hospital staffing needs.

Requirements:

• Must hold medical degree (M.D. or D.O.), or equivalent;
• Must have completed residency in internal medicine or family medicine;
• Must have valid Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility
