This position involves providing specialized nursing care on a 16-bed neurology unit, primarily caring for post-stroke, post-operative brain, neck, and spine surgery patients, as well as trauma cases. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment with a focus on stroke management and neurocritical recovery. Job Details Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Associate Degree or Certificate, 3 years of RN experience minimum, with 1 year of Medical Surgical (MS) Neurology experience preferred. Schedule: 12-hour shifts during days, from 0530 to 1800, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Responsibilities: Experience in stroke care, post-op spinal and brain surgeries, neuro emergencies such as TBI and trauma. Candidates should be resilient, able to manage change effectively, and capable of handling complex neuro cases involving medication management (e.g., insulin, heparin, Cardene, Levo, Amio, Cardizem). Certification Notes: Candidates preferably experienced with EPIC charting within the last year. Float: Float rotation may be required throughout the facility within the skill set to all ThedaCare facilities within a 60-mile radius. Submission Requirements: Candidates should meet the minimum experience requirement of 3 years as an RN, with at least 1 year of neuro or critical care experience.
