Banquet Dishwasher

The Best Western Premier Bridgewood Resort Hotel & Conference Center in Neenah, WI is seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Banquet Dishwasher to join our team.
This position plays an important role in supporting our banquet and catering operations by ensuring dishes, cookware, glassware, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Schedule:
The scheduled hours would be primarily Fridays and Saturdays, with potential other days based on business needs.

Job Description:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards or refrigerators.
• Clean garbage cans with water or steam. Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Keep dish-room clean and organized.
• Complete opening and closing checklists
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, silverware, cookware, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area
• Remove trash and recycling as needed
• Assist with cleaning banquet and kitchen areas following events
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Support the banquet and culinary teams as needed to ensure successful events

Job Requirements:

• Must posses a positive attitude and work well with other team members.
• Must be able to work unsupervised
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 7 hours).
• Be willing to follow direction and ask questions for clarification if needed.
• Be able to work in a fast paced kitchen environment.
• Be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
