Low Voltage Cable Technician – Structured Cabling | Greenville, SC

Responsibilities
- Pull, terminate, dress, label, and test CAT5e/CAT6 cabling
- Assist with fiber optic cable installation, termination, and testing as needed
- Install and support MDF/IDF closets, racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, and pathway systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and cable layouts
- Maintain organized cable management and labeling standards
- Work safely on ladders, lifts, and active construction sites
- Troubleshoot and test installed cabling using cable testers and certification equipment
- Follow customer and industry standards for commercial structured cabling installations
Requirements
- 2+ years of commercial structured cabling experience
- Experience pulling, terminating, and testing CAT5e/CAT6 cabling
- Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications
- Fiber optic experience is a plus
- BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus
- Basic hand tools and PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites throughout the Greenville, SC market as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality installations
