CDL Shuttle Driver

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time 

Location: Los Angeles-Pomona, CA

Shifts Available: Mornings and Evenings (Monday through Friday 5am-6pm)

Must Have: 3 Years Drivers License

Propark Mobility is currently hiring Shuttle Drivers for full-time opportunities to  start immediately. 

What we're looking for:*

• Drives shuttle bus and transports customers to and from the facility.
  
• Greets passengers and provides assistance with loading and unloading.
  
• Operates the shuttle bus in a safe and efficient manner and complies with all traffic and safety regulations.
  
• Monitors vehicle condition and records malfunctioning items or damage on appropriate forms.
  
• Communicates with dispatchers, drivers and other employees using a two-way radio system to communicate routes, announcing arrivals and delays, coordinating the pick-up of customers, or handling other vehicle or customer issues that arise.
  
• Conducts pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle buses at the beginning and end of shift to ensure sound operating conditions.
  
• Monitors traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch or supervisor of potential problems.
  
• Reports accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor.
  
• Treats all customers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs.

Must haves:

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You have a valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 3 years.
• You have the ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently
• You have the ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends
• Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed.
• Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.

Good to haves:

• Customer service: 1 year+
• Experience driving a shuttle bus or commercial vehicle: 1 year+

Physical Demands: as part of performing the duties associated with this position, the employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands-to-fingers, handle tools or controls, reach with hands or arms, talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be subjected to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes and airborne particles. The noise level in this work environment can range from minimal to moderate.

Lo que estamos buscando:*

• Monitorea las condiciones del tráfico y del clima y notifica al despachador o supervisor sobre posibles problemas.
• Reporta accidentes u otras situaciones de seguridad al despachador o supervisor.
• Trata a todos los clientes de manera cortés, amigable y profesional.
• Realizar otras tareas que se le asignen según las necesidades operativas.

Requisitos indispensables:

• Tiene al menos 18 años de edad.
• Tiene una licencia de conducir válida y ha estado conduciendo durante al menos 3 años.
• Tiene la capacidad de operar una camioneta de pasajeros de manera segura y eficiente.
• Tiene la capacidad de trabajar en horarios flexibles, tardes y fines de semana.
• Enérgico, extrovertido y puede pararse, correr y cargar artículos de hasta 50 libras, si es necesario.
• Excelente comunicador tanto en lenguaje escrito como hablado, con un enfoque amable y profesional hacia todas las personas que conoce.
• Prospera en un entorno de ritmo rápido y puede ayudar a resolver los problemas de los clientes de manera positiva y útil.

Bueno tener:

• Servicio al cliente: 1 año o más
• Experiencia conduciendo un autobús shuttle o vehículo comercial: 1 año o más
