Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking an AI Developer on behalf of our client in Remote to design, develop, and deploy a secure, enterprise-grade document intelligence chatbot platform. This role focuses on building advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions that ingest and analyze documents such as PDFs, reports, manuals, and policies to deliver accurate, source-grounded responses with citations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, vector databases, document processing, and cloud-native application development. Strong expertise in multi-tenant architecture, security, authentication, and access control is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end RAG pipelines, including document ingestion, text extraction, chunking, embeddings, indexing, semantic search, and response generation.

• Develop AI-powered chatbot solutions that provide accurate, explainable, and source-cited responses.

• Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

• Develop agentic AI workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel.

• Implement secure multi-tenant architecture with strict isolation of documents, vector stores, chat history, and application data.

• Configure authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth2, OIDC, SSO, Azure AD (Entra ID), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

• Protect AI applications against prompt injection, unauthorized access, data leakage, and other security threats.

• Implement encryption, audit logging, monitoring, rate limiting, and security best practices.

• Optimize AI solutions for response quality, retrieval accuracy, performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, document technical designs, and support production deployments.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with strong proficiency in Python.

• Hands-on experience building Generative AI, NLP, chatbot, or production-grade RAG applications.

• Experience with LLM platforms such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, or Hugging Face.

• Proficiency with AI orchestration frameworks, including LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel.

• Experience working with vector databases and search platforms such as Azure AI Search, Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, Chroma, or FAISS.

• Strong understanding of multi-tenant SaaS architecture, data isolation, and secure application design.

• Experience implementing authentication and authorization frameworks, including OAuth2, OIDC, SSO, Azure AD (Entra ID), and RBAC.

• Experience with document processing, OCR, text extraction, and content indexing.

• Cloud platform experience, preferably Microsoft Azure.

• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, SQL, and NoSQL databases.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing user interfaces with Angular.

• Familiarity with OCR and document intelligence platforms such as Azure Document Intelligence, AWS Textract, Google Document AI, or Tesseract.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of compliance and governance frameworks such as SOC 2, GDPR, or HIPAA.

• Familiarity with RAG evaluation methodologies, retrieval quality metrics, and hallucination reduction techniques.

• Understanding of Responsible AI principles and AI governance best practices.
