Job Title: Data / Information Architect - Consultant

Job Location: South Carolina (Fully Onsite - 5 Days per Week / Open to Nationwide Candidates in Eastern Time Zone)

Position Type: Contract (12 Months with High Possibility of Extension)

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Data / Information Architect to join a high-impact public sector project with the State of South Carolina. In this role, you will lead public-facing dashboard development, perform deep data analysis on real estate, fleet, and financial metrics, and support critical CRM systems. If you have a strong foundation in database design, Tableau, and data-driven strategy, we want to connect with you!

Key Responsibilities

Perform data analysis on real estate, fleet metrics, and financial data to support administrative management initiatives utilizing tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Python, R, or SAS.
Design and develop database environments using MS SQL Server Management, Azure Synapse, or similar cloud/on-prem platforms.
Build, deploy, and maintain public-facing Tableau dashboards and create detailed technical documentation.
Support and develop custom CRM systems (Salesforce, Zendesk, HubSpot).
Provide data-focused strategies that add organizational value, drive operational efficiency, and present insights to key stakeholders.
Participate actively in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) across Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

Tableau Development & Deployment: Proven expertise in building enterprise-grade, public-facing dashboards.
Database Principles & Design: Strong working knowledge of database architecture, MS SQL Server, or Azure Synapse.
CRM Development & Support: Hands-on experience with platforms like Salesforce, Zendesk, or HubSpot.
Data Analysis & Modeling: Experience handling complex datasets, financial metrics, and telemetry data.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong Business Analyst skills with the ability to explain and document complex concepts to diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
