Job Summary (List Format):

• Communicate clearly with strong oral and written skills; able to listen, speak, and document effectively.
• Apply deductive and inductive reasoning for clinical decision making.
• Demonstrate proficiency with technology, including Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically Cerner (preferred).
• Maintain high levels of concentration and the ability to multitask and shift between activities efficiently.
• Display manual dexterity for managing IV tubing, syringes, and other medical equipment.
• Accurately perform information ordering and medication calculations.
• Provide culturally and spiritually sensitive care to diverse patient and staff populations.
• Efficiently manage time and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Work in a Critical Care Unit (CCU) with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1 or 2:1, depending on patient acuity.
• Utilize ACLS and BLS certifications to deliver advanced patient care.
• Hold an active Michigan RN license at time of submission.
• Preferred: Prior travel nursing and Cerner EMR experience.
• Facility: Oaklawn Hospital, a 78-bed hospital in Marshall, Michigan, with a 12-bed CCU.
• Contribute to a supportive team in a community hospital setting known for its historic charm and vibrant local culture.
