Base Pay $10.00 - $19.00 / Hour Job Category A - Dutch Medical Clinics Employee Type Non-Exempt FT Description Clinic Receptionist Position Summary The receptionist is responsible for welcoming patients and visitors and assisting patients, staff or providers with their needs. Learn Athena clinical EMR Adhere to clinic/company policies and procedures Identify patients and their personal information using their ID, documents or 2 patient identifiers (ex. Name & DOB) Welcoming patients/visitors in person or on the telephone Optimize patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization. Ensure patient confidentiality Other duties as assigned by management Familiarity with computer and relevant software applications Awareness of general administrative and clerical procedures Good interpersonal skills and communication Ability to multitask Able to stand on feet, bend and move through shift Experience & Education High school diploma or equivalent 1-3 years' experience Physical Requirements Needs to be able to sit for extended periods, stand and walk occasional, reach and manipulate objects with their hands (like a keyboard). Have good vision for reading computer screens and be able to hear clearly to answer phone calls; most positions may require lifting light items up to 10 pounds occasionally.
