Personal Insurance AD & Associate Actuary / Sr. Pricing Consultant

Pricing Partner RolePricing partner to product leadership. Closer to a pricing partnership role than a modelling-heavy IC position because the analysis is meant to influence product decisions, approvals and profitable growth.Senior P&C pricing role supporting The Hartford's $3 billion Personal Auto and Home portfolio. You'll analyze state-level rate indications, trends, loss development and catastrophe loads, then advise Pricing and Product Management leaders on profitability and rate filings. The role is hybrid in Hartford, Chicago, Charlotte or Columbus, with remote consideration for candidates outside those areas.RequirementsMust HaveBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceACAS or FCAS credentialStrong Excel skillsStrongly Preferred3+ years of relevant experience in insurance/financial servicesStrong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail with strong time and project management skillsDriven, intellectually curious, passionate, resourceful, creativeProactive, challenges processes, influences others, meets deadlinesNice To HaveActuarial experienceFamiliarity with Personal Lines productsKnowledge of SQL, VBA, R, Python, SAS or similar code languagesSkills & DomainTools: Excel.
