Event Support Representative - Entry-Level

We are seeking a reliable and professional Event Support Representative to assist with in-person events, community activities, and promotional programs.

This is an entry-level position. Previous event experience is not required. The selected candidate will receive paid training and hands-on instruction to learn the responsibilities of the position.

The role involves interacting with event attendees, assisting with event materials and registration, providing general information, and supporting the event team throughout scheduled activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing event areas, materials, displays, and supplies

• Help with event setup and breakdown

• Welcome attendees and provide courteous customer service

• Assist with registration and check-in

• Answer general questions and provide information to attendees

• Support information tables, demonstrations, and other event activities

• Help maintain an organized and professional event environment

• Distribute approved event or promotional materials

• Communicate with team members regarding assigned event responsibilities

• Follow instructions and established event procedures

• Participate in required training and team meetings

• Assist with other event-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• No previous event experience required

• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills

• Professional and courteous manner

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Comfortable interacting with customers and members of the public

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks

• Willingness to learn new procedures and responsibilities

Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, restaurants, sales, community outreach, or other public-facing positions is welcome but is not required.

Training

Paid training is provided for employees who are new to event support.

Training will introduce employees to:

• Event setup and breakdown procedures

• Registration and check-in processes

• Customer and attendee service

• Event materials and displays

• Professional communication

• Workplace and event procedures

• Team responsibilities

Employees will receive hands-on guidance from experienced team members while learning the position.
