Registered Nurse - OB/GYN

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecological nursing care to patients in a hospital setting. Ensures safe and effective delivery of care through clinical expertise, coordination, and patient education.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health status by collecting pertinent data and analyzing assessment findings.
• Develop individualized care plans targeting patient needs and medical objectives.
• Implement nursing interventions, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe, supportive environment.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans to achieve desired outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred.
• Demonstrate experience in OB/GYN or maternal health nursing.
• Maintain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
