• Experience: 2+ years in Cardiovascular Cath Lab, Mac Lab, intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, temporary pacemakers, right heart cath

What You'll Do:

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab environment
• Assist with procedures involving intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella devices, and right heart catheterization
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data and cardiac rhythms
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care instructions
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain high-quality standards
• Attend orientation at KU NEO to prepare for your role

What You Need:
Required:

• Kansas RN license or valid Compact license
• BLS & ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years CV Cath Lab experience
• Experience with Mac Lab, intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, and temporary pacemakers

Preferred:

• Strong cardiovascular and hemodynamic knowledge
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Excellent communication skills

About the Assignment:
This position is with a leading healthcare provider in Kansas City, KS, focusing on advanced cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures. The unit emphasizes quality patient care, safety, and continuous professional development, providing a collaborative and dynamic work environment. Orientation will be held at KU NEO on the first Monday and Tuesday of your scheduled start week, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
