Food & Beverage Sr. Project Manager

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized engineering firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth of its Food & Beverage group. As a result, a full-time position is available for an experienced project manager in our West Allis (Milwaukee area), WI office.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary design team focused on providing innovative process, packaging, and automation solutions to manufacturing clients. The project manager will provide engineering leadership and a solid working understanding of process, utility, packaging, and control systems. Project managers will be responsible for managing all phases of the project including design, equipment procurement, construction, commissioning, and training while providing a positive client experience. Travel will be required.

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in mechanical or chemical engineering or related field from an accredited college or university and at least 10 years of relevant engineering firm experience of which at least 2 must be at the project manager level

OR

• If no degree, at least 14 years of relevant engineering firm experience of which at least 2 must be at the project manager level.

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:

• Delivering process, packaging, and/or automation projects on budget and on schedule
• Managing complex scopes and multiple simultaneous projects
• Guiding discipline leads on project design
• Managing client interaction and expectations
• Identifying and developing business opportunities
• Collaborating with engineers, subcontractors, subconsultants, and equipment vendor
