Job DescriptionManufacturing company that makes fabricated steel assemblies needs Certified Welding Inspectors, also called CWI. There are day and second shift positions available. This job is in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
- You will be responsible for onsite testing and inspection of manufactured products designed to support heavy loads.
- Non Destructive Testing Inspector / Nondestructive evaluation (NDE Technician) experience
- All necessary testing and personal protection equipment will be provided by the company
- Should be experienced in inspection and test of structures and welds.
- Experience with Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, Visual, and Ultrasonic inspection (NDI) preferred.
- Certified Welding Inspector with at least three years’ experience. This is a position in manufacturing, but will consider people with construction, civil engineering, defense, marine, or aerospace experience.
- Must be able to identify components having cracks, corrosion, faulty welds, or other defects that would affect structural integrity.
- Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings or blueprints. Proficiency with MS Office software and the ability to produce reports in desired formats is a must.
