Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2474.68 Opportunity: RN - Surgical Center/Pre-Op Job Details: • Day shift schedules available in 8-hour or 10-hour increments with shift times of 6:00 AM-2:00 PM, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM • 4 10-hour shifts or 3 12-hour shifts per week • Rotating weekend schedule required with 8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM-3:00 PM on Saturday or Sunday • 1-2 second calls required every schedule (per month), which includes a 24-hour call shift one day on the weekend from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM • Call response time of 30 minutes required • Participation in weekend rotation and on-call schedule required, including 1 weekend call day and 1 weekend scheduled shift per 4-week schedule • Occasional midnight and holiday shifts based on department needs • No blocked scheduling • Floating to OR holding area may be required • Work in a preoperative care setting handling all procedures including same-day and overnight stays • 15 suites with approximately 55-70 cases per day • IV skills required • Surgical care knowledge and robotics experience required • Scrubbing required for preoperative care only • Facility-provided scrubs/dress code • EMR system: Sunrise (with Epic go-live April 1) • Required certifications: BLS • Must submit a copy of unexpired driver's license with application • Must disclose any licensing hits at time of submission • Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius Facility: This acute care facility operates a surgical center and preoperative care unit handling a high volume of cases across 15 suites daily. The facility offers a dynamic surgical environment supporting a wide range of procedures including same-day and overnight stays. The organization is actively transitioning to an Epic EMR system and utilizes advanced surgical technology including robotics, providing staff with exposure to modern healthcare practices.
