About the Position

RN - Post Operations

Location: Saint Paul, MN | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type:
Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (5:30–18:00 or 9:30–21:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities:
Provide perianesthesia nursing care across PACU, Pre-Op, and Phase 2 settings within a hospital-based and day surgery center environment. Float between the main hospital Perianesthesia department and the Day Surgery Center Perianesthesia department as assigned to meet facility needs. Deliver safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with scope of practice and unit protocols. Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic (Excellian). Participate in weekend assignments as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Minnesota license in hand preferred; pending licensure may be considered).
• Minimum 3 years of PACU/perianesthesia nursing experience required.
• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• PALS certification required.
• Epic (Excellian) charting experience required.
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals are not accepted for this position.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in both a main hospital perianesthesia setting and an ambulatory/day surgery environment.
• Familiarity with a teaching hospital or trauma center environment.
• Flexibility to accommodate variable shift start times within the day shift window.
