Providing crucial assessment, consultation, and counseling services within an educational setting, you’ll collaborate with educators and families near Sahuarita, AZ to create nurturing environments where students can thrive.

Key Qualifications:

• Current School Psychologist certification/licensure (state requirements must be met)
• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
• In-depth knowledge of special education laws, evaluation procedures, and evidence-based intervention strategies
• Experience administering and interpreting psychological assessments
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Experience in a school setting strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ needs
• Develop and support implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling for students as needed
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents, offering guidance on academic, behavioral, and social/emotional challenges
• Deliver training for staff on topics such as mental health, learning disabilities, and positive behavioral supports
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state and federal guidelines
