- Conduct nutrition screenings and assist with nutritional assessments
- Support development and implementation of individualized nutrition care plans
- Monitor and document resident progress and dietary needs
- Provide nutrition education to residents and families
- Collaborate with dietitians, physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
- Assist with compliance of dietary services and food safety standards
- Support nutrition documentation within the electronic medical record system
- Participate in quality improvement and resident care planning
- Completion of an accredited Dietetic Technician program
- Active Dietetic Technician Registered (DTR) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Experience in long-term care or healthcare nutrition preferred
- Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and dietary guidelines
- Experience with electronic health records or nutrition software preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
