Senior Technical ManagerThe Senior Technical Manager provides strategic and technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects within their professional service area. This role oversees all technical aspects of project execution, including design integrity, quality assurance, personnel management, scope, budgeting, and financial performance. The Senior Technical Manager directs and supports technical teams assigned to multiple projects, working closely with Project Managers and other stakeholders to ensure technical objectives are achieved.Key responsibilities include overseeing and verifying the accuracy and quality of technical work, developing, monitoring, and maintaining project budgets and schedules, ensuring the technical, quality, and financial performance of the technical team meets organizational and client expectations, serving as a primary point of contact for resolving technical, engineering, and project-related issues, acting as the Designer of Record when required, collaborating and communicating effectively with managers, clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams to support project success, conducting quality assurance reviews and testing, preparing and overseeing workload forecasts, staffing plans, and resource allocation, developing and managing budgets and schedules for complex technical projects, delivering technical presentations and reports, ensuring compliance with applicable environmental, survey, and permitting regulations, reviewing and approving contract documents and agreements, supervising and mentoring technical staff, and contributing to the development and execution of annual business goals and multi-year strategic plans.Education and experience requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of twenty (20) years' job-related experience.
