Data Engineer Opportunity At TarroWe are looking for a Data Engineer to help build and scale Tarro's data infrastructure as we continue to expand our product portfolio and customer base. You'll play a foundational role in shaping how data is collected, modeled, validated, and consumed across the company. This is a high-impact opportunity to work in a fast-paced, profitable startup where you'll have real ownership, move quickly, and see your work directly influence product and business outcomes.What you'll accomplish:You will build and evolve Tarro's core data infrastructure and foundational datasetsYou will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that support analytics, machine learning, experimentation, and product use casesYou will ensure data quality and reliability by implementing audits, alerting, and anomaly detection at scaleYou will partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver trusted, actionable dataYou will contribute to shared data engineering tooling, standards, and best practices to improve team productivity and output qualityYou will help establish long-term data architecture that scales with Tarro's growthAbout you:You have 5+ years of experience building and operating production-grade data pipelinesYou have a strong understanding of scalable, performant data modeling patterns across structured and unstructured data sourcesYou have a proven ability to work cross-functionally to design data architectures that support analytics, machine learning, and experimentationYou have experience building and operating fault-tolerant, distributed systemsYou have hands-on experience working in a cloud environment such as AWS or GCPYou are a self-starter who thrives in an environment with high ownership, limited process, and lots of autonomyYou care deeply about building reliable systems that solve real customer and business problemsBonus points:You have experience in a consumer driven industry with a passion for the customer.You have a BS / MS / PhD in Computer Science or a related fieldYou have experience with analytics and BI tools such as Looker or TableauYou have prior experience building data platforms or products from 0 to 1 in an ambiguous, fast-moving environmentYou have a roll up your sleeves mentality with current or prior experience working in a fast paced, collaborative, highly ambiguous environment frequently wearing more than one hat.If you do not meet all the requirements listed above which candidates rarely do, don't worry.
