Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Pulmonary & Observation unit serving adult and geriatric populations with respiratory diagnoses and general medical conditions
• Titrate critical drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Lasix, Dopamine (low-dose renal perfusion), and Amiodarone per unit protocols
• Perform and manage trach care (non-vented patients on trach collar or room air); utilize RT equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and High Flow O2
• Review and interpret telemetry strips each shift in collaboration with monitor techs and charge RNs
• May be asked to serve in a Charge Nurse role with a modified patient assignment; cross-training opportunity available for interested candidates
• Float to Med-Surg units or the Emergency Department to care for boarded patients as needed based on unit census

• Active RN license in good standing
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Previous experience in Med-Surg, Telemetry, and/or Critical Care with drip titration and trach care
• Strong cardiac background required
• Previous travel nursing experience required

• Experience with Peritoneal Dialysis
• Comfort with Charge Nurse responsibilities and willingness to cross-train in that role
• Familiarity with specialty beds, sequential compression devices, and pulse oximetry equipment

• Structured onboarding including hospital orientation, a full nursing orientation day, computer training, and two 12-hour preceptored orientation shifts to set you up for success
• Block scheduling considered when unit needs are met, with holiday rotation designed to avoid repeating the same holidays worked in prior years
