Automotive Express Technician

Job Summary Responsible for performing basic vehicle maintenance and repair services efficiently and accurately, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Compensation $16.00 - $18.00 hourly Job Responsibilities Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid checks. Conduct multi-point inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance. Execute basic diagnostic checks using provided tools and equipment. Complete work orders accurately and efficiently, documenting all services performed and parts used. Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle status and recommended services. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on new automotive technologies and repair procedures. Assist other technicians with tasks as needed. Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an automotive technician training program preferred. 1-2 years of experience in automotive service or a related field. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to operate diagnostic equipment and hand tools effectively. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions. ASE certifications are a plus.
