Neuroscience Sales Specialist (Cleveland, OH) - Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine

Job Overview The Neuroscience Sales Specialist will serve the Cleveland, Ohio territory, including Cleveland and surrounding areas, Columbus North, Mansfield & Sandusky, delivering sales of neuropsychiatric products, engaging clinicians, and driving growth for the Intra‑Cellular Therapies commercial team. Job Responsibilities Follow compliance guidelines and drive sales performance to ensure forecasts are met or exceeded by calling HCP offices and mental health community centers both in‑person and virtually. Use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives. Customize discussions and client interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner. Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers and key influencers; share information with stakeholders. Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers and region. Identify and select appropriate programs/resources for each customer, practice and/or system. Work with the Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives. Capitalize on formulary approvals and other business opportunities through effective implementation of the strategic plan. Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and sharing best practices. Accountably manage work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communications, sample and expense reporting. Build a business plan based on the depth and breadth of customer business needs, resources and products. Complete all company‑and‑job‑related training within required timelines. Job Requirements Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare sales/account management, B2B sales, or recent transition from Active‑Duty Military. 3+ years of sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals (launch, antipsychotic, or bipolar sales highly preferred). Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; valid driver’s license and safe driving record. Strong passion for improving patient and caregiver lives; patient‑centric mindset. High integrity and strict adherence to company compliance policies. Self‑motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, excellent judgment, teamwork, and cross‑functional collaboration skills. Proven ability to learn and adapt to changing environments such as the COVID‑19 pandemic. Agility in adapting to telemedicine/virtual environments. Data‑analytic skills to assess progress, diagnose performance issues, and identify new opportunities. Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences. Work hours may include meetings outside normal hours; territory may require overnight travel; domestic travel for training and sales meetings may be required.
