Key Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will:

• Design & Development

• Develop and analyze static and dynamic mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging designs

• Ensure designs meet all mechanical performance criteria, including load and vibration requirements

• Generate innovative solutions for new system designs and drive continuous improvement for existing systems

• Technical Expertise

• Conduct feasibility studies, performance testing, and risk assessments for new and modified designs

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet customer needs and project requirements

• Documentation & Collaboration

• Provide critical design information to drafting teams for documentation

• Review detailed engineering drawings, ensuring specification compliance

• Support prototype fabrication and direct support personnel as needed throughout the design implementation process

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Two (2) or more years of professional experience in mechanical design

• Demonstrated design experience, including hands-on work with SolidWorks

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
