Now Hiring: EHS Specialist

Location: Paris, KY

Pay Rate: $32.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, flexible hours (7:00 AM-3:30 PM, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, or 9:00 AM-6:00 PM). Overtime flexibility preferred.

We are seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental programs at our Paris, KY facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career EHS professional looking to expand their experience in manufacturing, industrial safety, environmental compliance, and risk management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field

1-2 years of EHS experience

Working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations

OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification preferred

First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

Support compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements

Conduct hazard assessments, risk evaluations, and corrective action tracking

Assist with safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, and root cause analysis

Deliver employee safety training and support safety awareness initiatives

Participate in environmental compliance programs, including wastewater, air, waste, stormwater, and related reporting activities

Assist with emergency response planning and continuous improvement efforts

Support contractor safety programs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a safe workplace
