Job Summary: The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting, collaborating with physicians to ensure optimal health outcomes. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, and evidence-based interventions to deliver patient-centered nursing services.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized care plans based on assessments and diagnosis.
  
  
• 
  Implement therapeutic nursing interventions to support patient recovery and well-being.
  
  
• 
  Document care activities accurately in accordance with clinical standards and patient acuity.
  
  
• 
  Manage ongoing patient care, adapting interventions as needed to changing conditions.
  
  
• 
  Advocate for use of evidence-based practices and support innovations in care delivery.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and meet clinical priorities.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry unit within a major acute care hospital.
  
  
• 
  Possess an ASN, with BSN preferred.
  
  
• 
  Maintain a valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
  
  
• 
  Hold current BLS-AHA, NIHSS, Telemetry, CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours, and ACLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong clinical skills in telemetry, med-surg, and hospice patient care.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit excellent soft skills, including communication and compassionate patient advocacy.
