Type: Full-time, salaried
Pay: $38,000 starting salary, plus a target bonus of up to $5,200 per year
Schedule: Weekdays only. No nights, no weekends.

About Us
Davis Decorative Hardware is a high-end showroom for decorative and functional hardware. We serve the New Orleans area’s interior designers, cabinet makers, residential contractors, builders, and their clients. Our showroom is where good projects get their finishing details, and we take that seriously.

Read This First
This is not a retail job. You won’t be ringing up customers and restocking shelves. On any given day you’ll be juggling three to five detailed quotes, tracking revisions and pricing changes, chasing lead times with vendors, and keeping designers and contractors informed, all while the next client walks in. Details matter here. A wrong finish or a missed revision costs our clients time and money, and it costs us their trust.

What You’ll Do

• Consult with designers, cabinet makers, contractors, builders, and homeowners to select hardware that fits the function, the design intent, and the budget.
• Build accurate, detailed quotes and specifications, often several at once, priced to meet company margin goals.
• Follow every project from first quote through order and delivery, tracking revisions, orders, and follow-ups on time.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with clients, vendors, and our internal team.
• Maintain a professional showroom and client experience.
• Work within our Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) processes and accountability tools.

What You Need

• Strong organization and time management. You keep a lot of moving pieces straight without dropping any.
• A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• The ability to perform well under deadlines.
• Professional written and verbal communication.
• A coachable attitude and a willingness to learn complex product information. We can teach you hardware. We can’t teach work ethic.
• Comfort working within structured systems and processes.
• Basic computer skills: email, internal software, and quoting systems.

Nice to Have

• Kitchen and bath showroom or design industry experience.
• Sales experience in cabinetry, lighting, tile, plumbing, or building materials.
• Interior design assistant or construction-adjacent support experience.

• Starting salary: $38,000
• Target bonus of up to $5,200 per year , with eligibility beginning after 90 days
