Scheduling Support Coordinator

Are you highly organized, responsive, and comfortable helping solve scheduling problems as they arise? Do you communicate well with different types of people and take pride in making sure important details do not fall through the cracks? At Home Care Partners, the Scheduling Support Coordinator helps keep our caregiving operations running smoothly during afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, and other high-need periods. Working alongside the Home Care Schedule Manager and office team, you'll assist with caregiver communication, open shift outreach, schedule updates, documentation, and after-hours response. Your work will help reduce coverage gaps, keep caregivers informed, and ensure our clients continue receiving consistent, reliable care.

What You'll Do (and Why It Matters)

  • Support caregiver schedules by assisting with updates, open shifts, and coverage needs
  • Contact caregivers about availability, schedule confirmations, weekend commitments, and holiday coverage
  • Respond to call-outs, late arrivals, and after-hours scheduling changes
  • Communicate schedule updates to caregivers, clients, families, and the office team
  • Maintain accurate availability records, scheduling notes, and on-call documentation
  • Identify unresolved coverage gaps or reliability concerns and escalate them to the appropriate team member

This role helps keep scheduling organized, communication clear, and client care covered when plans change.

What to Expect from the Role

  • Approximately 1525 hours per week
  • Weekday hours primarily during afternoons and evenings
  • Remote on-call coverage 23 weekday evenings per week
  • In-office every Saturday from 7:00 AM2:00 PM
  • Weekend on-call coverage two weekends per month
  • Rotating holiday on-call coverage

You must be dependable, responsive, and comfortable managing time-sensitive scheduling needs during assigned coverage periods.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Ability to quickly learn scheduling systems and internal tools
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Associate's degree or higher preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in scheduling, coordination, office administration, or a related role (healthcare experience is a plus)
