Director, Enterprise Risk Management (Product Risk)

Job Description Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with an established financial services organization to identify a Director, Enterprise Risk Management . The Director will have responsibilities in all aspects of the enterprise-wide risk management program with an emphasis on Product Risk Management supporting the organization’s payment systems. This direct hire role has a hybrid work schedule (2-3 days/week onsite). Responsibilities Facilitate/Lead interfacing with functional units to evolve the organization’s ERM Framework Plan/conduct risk assessment across the organization’s suite of products and domains Identify/address IT risk observations with affected parties Identify/address IT risks associated with operational processes Perform risk assessments to identify current and emerging key risks (operational, technology, etc.) Represent organization at the internal and external risk committees as well as supervisors to provide periodic updates Establish, communicate, and execute risk management methodology, processes, risk appetite, and risk culture Qualifications/Background Profile Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or technology-related field 6-8 years of first- or second-line risk management experience 8+ years of financial services work experience managing and implementing enterprise-wide projects, multi-tasking on projects with competing priorities, risk assessments, due diligence, ORM and/or ERM Experience working with or contributing to the development of an ERM and/or ORM framework in a dynamic, complex organization Applied knowledge of product change governance processes, risk review and challenge of new products and/or changes to existing products Applied experience with risk governance and COSO framework or equivalent Knowledge of regulations and emerging industry risks and trends in the finance, banking, and payments system industry Salary & Pay Range $150,000 - $175,000 per year This job is Hybrid Remote.
